A copy of all PhD and MPhil theses are deposited in Northumbria Research Link (NRL) to allow the University to share its postgraduate research with the wider research community. Our records are harvested by EThOS, the British Library's Electronic Thesis Online Service.
NRL thesis deposits are made by the Library, using an electronic copy of the work supplied by the Graduate School. If you are unable to share your work, due to commercial sensitivity or other confidentiality issues, please speak to your supervisor about having access to your work restricted before submitting your thesis to the Graduate School.
If you have published research during your PhD studies and would like to make these outputs available in NRL, please discuss this with your supervisor. It is possible for a member of staff to deposit the work on your behalf. Advice on the type of information needed and preferred file format is available from the Scholarly Publications team by email or phone 0191 227 7705.
